Junior Tennis Classic Returns to Shreveport-Bossier April 5-6
SHREVEPORT, La. (March 6, 2025) – The Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl Junior Tennis Classic returns in one month, April 5-6. The tournament is a USTA National Level 5 Tournament and welcomes youth tennis players from across the country to the Shreveport-Bossier City area.
The tournament features singles and doubles draws for Boys and Girls in the 12U, 14U, 16U and 18U age groups. The main host site of the tournament will be Pierremont Oaks Tennis Club, but matches for the two-day tournament will be played at various sites throughout Shreveport-Bossier City.

In 2024, 131 boys and girls from ages 11 to 18 flocked to Shreveport-Bossier from various states – including Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, New York, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.
The singles draw will feature up to 16 entries for each age group, and doubles will have up to 16 pairs in each. Singles will be a “modified feed-in consolation” format, while doubles will be single elimination.
Boys and girls 12s and 18s will be played on hard courts, while Boys and Girls 14s and 16s will be played on clay. Practice courts for tournament participants will be available at tennis centers in the Shreveport-Bossier area, with the availability being announced at a date closer to the tournament.
Admission to all match sites will be free and open to the public for the entirety of the tournament.
