Independence Bowl Foundation Welcomes 2025 Executive Committee and Board of Directors
In the first female-to-female succession of Chair of the Independence Bowl Foundation, Sarah Giglio was handed the reigns as 2025 Chair of the Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl by the 2024 Chair, Claire Rebouche.

Independence Bowl Foundation Donates $10,000 to Starbase Louisiana
Amid federal funding negotiations, Starbase locations nationwide are facing a lack of funding and are in search of donors to keep the program running. The Independence Bowl Foundation and Extra Yard for Teachers have committed to donating $10,000 to the Starbase Louisiana Barksdale Air Force Base branch.

Louisiana Tech to Replace Marshall in 2024 Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl
The Louisiana Tech Bulldogs (5-7) will replace the Marshall Thundering Herd in the 2024 Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl – set to face off against the No. 19 (AP) Army West Point Black Knights on Saturday, December 28 at 8:15 p.m. CST on ESPN.

Concessions at Independence Bowl to Feature Local Restaurants
Local and traveling fans will have some Shreveport flair added to their game day experience at Independence Stadium, as Louisiana Smokehouse, PJ’s Coffee of New Orleans, Bistro To Go, Pizza Hut and Sonic – in addition to traditional stadium food – will be available in concessions stands at the 2024 Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl.

MARSHALL TO PLAY NO. 22 ARMY WEST POINT IN 2024 BOWL
The 2024 Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl is 20 days away, and the matchup is now set – pitting the Marshall Thundering Herd against the No. 22 Army West Point Black Knights. The game will kick off in primetime on ESPN at 8:15 p.m. CST on Saturday, December 28. It will be the first matchup of conference champions in the Independence Bowl since the inaugural bowl in 1976.
